Rat2 offers you the simplest 3SGTE swap for the DIYer.
When you purchase and swap through us, we source a healthy Gen4 3SGTE engine from Japan and don't stop there. We will replace your camshaft seals, rear main seal, front crank seal, valve cover gasket, idlers, water pump, timing belt, spark plugs, fix any broken exhaust studs, as well as clean the engine and replace anything else needed. On top of that, we will install the modified MR2 water neck, install the converted engine harness to your spec, and prep the engine for starting.
Finally, before the engine is sent out to you, we will actually run the engine on our test stand up to temperature, checking oil pressure, idle rpm, smoothness, and confirm there are no leaks/problems.

This is available for the AW11 MR2, SW20 MR2, and ST185 Celica. If you purchase an engine for an AW11, motor mounts are an optional addition to add to your kit.
You will receive an engine on a pallet that is ready to drop into your MR2 or Celica. Having the engine tested before you have it delivered removed the mystery behind imported engines and guarantees a worry-free swap in your car!
